The new sea wall seemed to have no difficulty reflecting the oncoming surf.
The waves seemed to reach an 8' to 10' height as they approached.
This kid at the left is about to get hit full force by a passing rip tide which shot across the surf line
with almost every wave.
The rocks are the only available beach!
You can see a couple of surfers here in the foreground, but very few were able to make it out to
where the big ones were breaking.
The previous high tide had ripped up the Ashton Street boardwalk.
At the bottom of Morning Street, neighbors gathered to watch the show and get a little bit wet as
the water occasionally came over the wall.
Did we mention the missing beach!!!
