A view of lower Bayview Avenue before paving came into vogue!!
The first two houses on the left are at the foot of Ashton Street. The Silver Sands hotel would have been on the right just out of the picture. I believe that the hotel was there at the time because the sign says "Home Cooked Food" and not "Coming Soon"!
