As young kids, we all made the daily trek to the store with our treasure of pennies and perhaps a nickel or two. Along the way, we had to pass Albert O. Davis's stone cottage on Ocean Avenue. The cottage ultimately had to be torn down and has been replaced, but it certainly sat as a beach landmark for decades.
